How we calculate these numbers
Probability is computed from each school's federal admission rate (College Scorecard) adjusted for your test-score position relative to the school's 25th–75th percentile range, your GPA tier, and your application strategy (Early Decision typically lifts admit rates ~2x at selective schools; Early Action ~1.1x). The model is calibrated against published Common Data Set ED/RD splits where available. Probabilities are intentionally conservative — most students benefit from applying to a balanced list of 6–10 schools. This is a planning tool, not a guarantee.
